PROBLEMS WITH CHLORINE-RESISTANT PATHOGENS?

There is not known microorganism capable of building resistance against Bio-hydrox’s advanced oxidation. Several waterborne pathogens are chlorine-resistant. Among them, viruses, parasites, and bacteria that can cause hepatitis, gastroenteritis, cryptosporidiosis and Legionnaires’ disease make it thru the disinfection process and can still be found in finished water. Some treatment improvements like enhanced coagulation and filtration, and post-treatment options like UV radiation, are becoming more popular as a way to increase the biological safety of drinking water. Other alternatives are implemented in non-drinking water applications including swimming pools, water parks, and cooling systems.

Bio-hydrox is NSF approved for use in potable and non-potable water systems. Microorganisms cannot mutate and become resistant because advanced oxidation will destroy their DNA. Is that simple. The DNA molecule that carries the bacterium instructions for development and reproduction is gone forever. It works all the time even when pathogens are protected by a spore or cyst, or in a dormant state.

Put us to the test! Bio-hydrox will increase the efficiency of your chemical treatment and help prevent outbreaks. #biohydroxchallenge, #AOP, #chlorine
